GATE 2026 is a prestigious national
level exam (conducted by IIT Guwahati) required for admission to Masters programs
(M Tech./ME/MS) and direct Doctoral Programs in IITs/ IISc/ NITs/IIITs /State
Universities for the academic year 2026. GATE 2026 scores are also used by various
Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) for recruitment to Management
Trainee/Engineer Trainee. GATE score obtained by the candidate is valid for 3 years. Many colleges/Institutes are also accepting GATE
score for admission to Masters Programs without MoE Scholarships.

Candidates who are currently studying in the 3rd or
higher years or completed any undergraduate degree program (B.E./B.Tech. /B.
Pharm./ B. Arch./ B.Sc. (Research)/B.S./ Pharm. D. (after 10+2)/
M.B.B.S./B.D.S./B.V.Sc./ M.Sc./M.A./MCA or equivalent/ B.Sc./B.A./B.Com./ Int.
M.Sc./Int. B.S./M.S./ B.Sc. (Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry)) are eligible to appear
for GATE 2026.

3. JAM 2026
The Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) is the
prestigious exam that paves the way for students to gain admission across 22 IITs for 89 post
graduate programs. This
exam is for direct
admission to around 3000 seats in various postgraduate programmes at IITs and
open to all
nationalities with no age restriction.

Those candidates who have either
completed their undergraduate degree or will be appearing in the final
examination of their qualifying degree in 2026 are eligible to appear in JAM
2026. By qualifying in JAM 2026, candidates can apply for admission subject to

- Proof of having passed the qualifying degree

4. CLAT 2026: LLM Program
The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national
level admission test for admissions to postgraduate (PG) Law programs offered
by 25 National Law Universities in India.
- The CLAT 2026
examination will be in OFFLINE mode only.
- The applications for
CLAT 2026 have to be submitted ONLINE only through the website
-consortiumofnlus.ac.in
- The CLAT 2026
examination is scheduled on Sunday, 7th December, 2025 from 2:00
P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and from 2.00 P.M. to 4.40 P.M. -
Eligible Candidates belonging to PWD Category.
- The online application
for CLAT 2026 will open on 1st August, 2025 and close on 31st October,
2025
Eligibility:
- To appear for CLAT 2026
there is no upper age limit for candidates appearing for PG Programme.
- Those candidates who
have passed an LL.B. Degree or an equivalent examination with a minimum of:
- Fifty percent (50%)
marks or its equivalent grade;
- Forty-Five percent
(45%) marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to
SC/ST/PwD categories
- Candidates appearing
for the qualifying examination in March/ April, 2026 are also eligible to
apply.
