Introduction
UPSC CDS Exam(I) 2025: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued notification
for
Combines Defence Services Examination (I), 2025 for the recruitment of commissioned officers in Army, Navy & Air
Force. Eligible
unmarried male and female candidates can apply online on or before 31st
December, 2025. Scheme of examination for Combined Defence Services Examination
(I), 2025 will be based on Written Examination and Interview for Intelligence

and Personality Test Stage I (comprises
of Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests)- Picture Perception and
Description Test (PP&DT). The candidates will be shortlisted based on
combination of performance in OIR Test and PP&DT. Stage II
Comprises of Interview, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests and the
Conference. These tests are conducted over 4 days. |

objective type questions only. The question papers (test booklets) of
Mathematics and General Ability Test will be set bilingually in Hindi as well
as English. Candidates should note that there will be
penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the

UPSC CDS Exam(I) 2025 Online Registration Process
If you are an aspirant for UPSC CDS Examination(I),

application submission.

and eligible Candidates are required to apply online by using the website
upsconline.gov.in
Candidate
willing to apply for Combined Defence Services Examination(I), 2025 are
required to apply on-line only and submit the required information and
supporting documents during application form fill up, such as date of birth,
educational qualification, etc. as may be sought by the Commission along with
the Registration and Online Application Form
· Candidates, please note complete instructions for filling up
online applications are available on the above-mentioned website. Candidates are
required to complete the online application form in two stages viz. Part I and
Part II.
· Eligible candidates are required to pay the application fee
of Rs. 200/- (Rupees one hundred only) [except for candidates belong to SC/ST
/female Category who are exempted from payment of application fee] either by
depositing the money in any branch of State Bank of India by cash or by using
any Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card/UPI Payment or by using Internet
Banking of any Bank.
· For filling up the online application form candidate should
also have details of one photo ID viz. Aadhar Card/ Voter Card/ PAN Card/
Passport/ Driving License/ School Photo ID/Any other photo ID Card issued by
the State/Central Government. The same photo ID card will also have to be
uploaded while filling the online application form. Same photo ID will be used
for all future referencing and the candidate is advised to carry this ID while
appearing for examination/SSB.
· Candidates, please note before start filling up online application,
a candidate must have his/her photograph and signature ready and duly scanned
in the .jpg format and each file should not exceed 300 KB and must not be less
than 20 KB in size for the photograph and signature.
· Before start filling up online application form by the
candidates, they must keep their photo identity card document ready in PDF
format only. The size of PDF file should not exceed 300 KB and must not be less
than 20 KB.
· Eligible candidates are required to fill the online applications
(Part I and II) from 11th December, 2024 till 31st December, 2024
till 6:00 PM.
· The applicants make sure that while filling their
Application Form, they should provide their valid and active E-mail Ids as the UPSC
can use electronic mode of communication while contacting to candidates at
different stages of examination process.
