A candidate must a) have a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science & Animal
Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.Н.) or its equivalent degree from any recognized
University/College/Institution in India or abroad. b) possess required conversion certificates recognized by Veterinary
Council of India (VCI) in case of candidate having University Degrees from
Foreign Countries; c) Candidate must possess valid Registration Certificate under the
Odisha Veterinary Practitioners Act, 1970 (Section1). |

eligibility and conditions
It is
mandatory for the Candidate to be able to read, write and speak Odia and have
- (a) Passed Middle School Exam with Odia as one of
the Language subject, or (b) Completed High School Certificate or equivalent
examination with Odia as medium of examination in non-language subject, or (c) Passed Odia as one of the language subject in
the final examination of Class-VII from a School or Educational Institution
recognized by the Govt. of Odisha or the Central Government.

The selection of candidates
for the posts of Veterinary Assistant

a) The total marks for the
written exam will be 800.
b) There will be two papers (
Paper-1 & II), each paper consists of 200 questions and carry 400 marks each.
c) The duration of each paper
will be 2 hrs 30 Minutes.

MCQ (Objective-type) pattern.
