IAF Agniveervayu Notification: Online application is invited from Indian Air Force for recruitment for Agniveervayu intake 02/2025 from eligible unmarried male and female candidates. The online application process has started from 8^th July, 2024 and the last date of filling up the online application form is 28^th July 2024. How to Apply for IAF Agniveervayu? 

 

If you are an aspirant for Agniveervayu Intake 02/2025 for Indian Air Force. Kindly follow the below mentioned steps for online application form submission.

Step 1: Visit official website www.agnipathvayu.cdac.in

Step 2: Before registration candidates are requested to visit C-DAC portal to understand the procedure to apply. Candidates must have valid E- Mail id and Mobile number for registration. Candidate should enter Aadhar number during filling of online application form.

Step 3: For new candidates, click - Registration

Step 4: Read instructions carefully and click - Continue.

Step 5: Fill the online application form with your personal and educational details as required.

Step 6: Recent colour Passport size photograph (taken not before June 2024) of size 10 KB to 50 KB (front portrait in light background without head gear except for Sikhs). This passport Photograph has to be taken with candidate holding a black slate in front of his/her chest with his/her name and date of photograph taken, clearly written on it with white chalk in capital letters. Change in appearance like growing beard, head gear, etc in comparison to the photograph may result in cancellation of candidature.

Step 7:  Candidate has to pay an examination fee of Rs. 550/- plus GST during the online application form fill-up through online mode by using net banking or by using any other online payment method - Visa/ Master/ RuPay Credit/ Debit Card/ UPI.

Admit card will be issued to those candidates who have successfully paid the examination fee for the examination.

Step 8: After application form fill-up download the application form for your later use and for your records.

 

What is the Selection Process for IAF Agniveervayu?

 

Indian Air Force Agniveervayu selection process for Intake 02/2025 will be carried out in three phases.

Phase I – Online Test- This stage would be conduct for Shortlisting of candidates for stage II. Shortlisting would be purely based on marks obtained in this test. Examination methodology has been designed to facilitate selection process based on qualifications of candidates.

 

Phase II – Physical Fitness Test (PFT)- Candidates who are shortlisted in in the Phase I examination (Online Test) will be issued call letter for Phase II (PFT).Candidates have to report  for Phase-II at the designated ASC along with following:-

(a) Colour print out of Phase-II Admit Card.

(b) Colour print of filled in application form downloaded on completion of online registration.

(c) HB pencil, eraser, sharpener, glue stick, stapler and black/blue ball point pen for writing.

(d) Eight copies of un-attested passport size colour photograph (which was used for the online application registration).

(e) Original and four self-attested photocopies of matriculation passing certificate (required for verification of candidate’s name, father’s name and his/her date of birth).

(f) Original and four self-attested photocopies of matriculation marks sheet (only applicable for three years Diploma/two years Vocational Course holders when English is not a subject in Diploma/Vocational Course).

(g) Original and four self-attested photocopies of Intermediate/10+2/equivalent examination passing certificate and marks sheet.

Agniveervayu	Passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics & English from recognized board under Ministry of Education, Govt of India, with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. OR Candidates who have Passed 3 years diploma course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Automobiles/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) from Central, State and UT recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR Candidates who have passed Two years Vocational Course with Non-vocational subject viz, Physics and Mathematics from Education Boards recognized by Central, State and UT with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.	Candidate should have born between 3rd July 2004 – 3rd Jan 2008 (Both dates are inclusive).

 

 

What is the Examination Fee for IAF Agniveervayu?

 

To apply for Indian Air Force Agniveervayu Intake 02/2025 candidate has to pay an examination fee of Rs. 550/- (plus GST) during the online application form fill-up through online mode by using net banking or by using any other online payment method - Visa/ Master/ RuPay Credit/ Debit Card/ UPI. What is the Examination Pattern & Syllabus for IAF Agniveervayu?

 

Examination Pattern & Syllabus for IAF Agniveervayu - Phase I

(a) Science Subjects. Total duration of the online test will be of 60 minutes and will comprise of Physics, Mathematics and English as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus.   (b) Other than Science Subjects. Total duration of the online test will be of 45 minutes and will comprise of English as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning & General Awareness.   (c) Science Subjects & Other than Science Subjects. Total duration of the online test will be of 85 minutes and shall comprise of Physics, Mathematics and English as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning & General Awareness.

1. The online test will be of objective type (MCQ). 2. .25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. 3. 1 mark will be awarded for every correct answer.

What is the Pay allowance and other benefits for for IAF Agniveervayu? 

 

Candidates applying for Agniveervayu Intake 02/2025 should read the below mentioned Pay allowance and other benefits before filling up the online application form.

1. AGNIVEERS will join in the Indian Indian Air Force under Indian Navy Act 1950 for four years. Agniveervayu would form a distinct rank in the Indian Air Force which will be different from any other existing ranks. Indian Air Force is not bound to retain Agniveervayu after a period of four years.

 2. After completion of four years of service, as per the organization’s requirements by the Indian Air Force as per policy, Agniveervayu will have an opportunity to apply for permanent position in the Indian Airforce.

3. Leave. The following leave will be applicable for Agniveervayu during their service period: - (a) Annual Leave: 30 days/ year. (b) Sick Leave: Based on medical advice.

 4. Medical and CSD Facilities. During their service period in Indian Air Force, Agniveervayu will be entitled for medical facility at Service Hospitals as well as CSD provisions.

5. Pay, Allowances and Allied Benefits. Agniveervayu joined under this scheme will be paid Rs 30000/- per month package with a fixed yearly increment. In addition, Risk and Hardship allowances (as applicable in Indian Navy), Dress and Travel allowances will be paid.

6. Terminal Benefits – After 4 years of service Agniveervayu will get Seva Nidhi Package. They will be given onetime ‘Seva Nidhi’ package comprises of their monthly contribution with matching contribution by the Government on completion of their service period, as mentioned below:

Agniveervayu are not entitled to Gratuity and Pensionary benefits.

7. Life Insurance Cover. Agniveervayu are eligible for non-contributory Life Insurance Cover of Rs. 48 lakh for the duration of their engagement period.
