How to Apply Agniveer (SSR) 2024 for Indian Navy?

Step 2: Before registration candidates are requested to visit C-DAC portal to understand the procedure to apply.

Step 3: For new candidates, click - Registration

Step 4: Read instructions carefully and click - Continue.

Step 5: Fill the online application form with your personal and educational details as required.

Step 6: Recent colour Passport size photograph (taken not before April 2024) of size 10 KB to 50 KB (front portrait in light background without head gear except for Sikhs). This passport Photograph has to be taken with candidate holding a black slate in front of his/her chest with his/her name and date of photograph taken, clearly written on it with white chalk in capital letters. Change in appearance like growing beard, head gear, etc in comparison to the photograph may result in cancellation of candidature. (b) Live photograph has to be captured by the candidate through the webcam during filling of online application form. Candidates are advised to capture good quality photograph at the time of application form. Photograph which are not clearly visible, blur, black shade etc. may result in cancellation of candidature.

Step 7:  Candidate has to pay an examination fee of Rs. 550/- plus 18% GST during the online application form fill-up through online mode by using net banking or by using any other online payment method - Visa/ Master/ RuPay Credit/ Debit Card/ UPI.

Admit card will be issued to those candidates who have successfully paid the examination fee for the examination.

What is the Selection Process for Agniveer (SSR) 2024 for Indian Navy?

Indian Navy Agniveer(SSR) selection process  2024 will be carried out in two stages.

 Stage I - Shortlisting (Indian Navy Entrance Test – INET- This stage would be conduct for Shortlisting of candidates for stage II. Shortlisting would be purely based on marks obtained in this test. Shortlisting would be carried out in state wise manner. The cut off marks for shortlisting for next stage of selection process may vary from state to state

Stage II - PFT, Written Examination and Recruitment Medical Examination - Candidates who are shortlisted in Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET) examination will be issued call letter for Stage II (PFT, written examination & Recruitment Medical). Stage-II will be conducted in the designated Indian Navy’s centers.

What is the Pay allowance and other benefits for Agniveer (SSR) 2024 for Indian Navy?

 

Candidates applying for Agniveer (SSR) Recruitment 2024 should read the below mentioned Pay allowance and other benefits before filling up the online application form.

1. AGNIVEERS will join in the Indian Navy under Indian Navy Act 1957 for four years. AGNIVEER would form a distinct rank in the Indian Navy which will be different from any other existing ranks. Indian Navy is not bound to retain AGNIVEER after a period of four years.

 2. After completion of four years of service, as per the organization’s requirements by the Indian Navy as per policy, AGNIVEERS will have an opportunity to apply for permanent position in the Indian Navy.

3. Leave. The following leave will be applicable for Agniveer during their service period: - (a) Annual Leave: 30 days/ year. (b) Sick Leave: Based on medical advice.

 4. Medical and CSD Facilities. During their service period in Indian Navy, AGNIVEER will be entitled for medical facility at Service Hospitals as well as CSD provisions.

5. Pay, Allowances and Allied Benefits. AGNIVEER joined under this scheme will be paid Rs 30000/- per month package with a fixed yearly increment. In addition, Risk and Hardship allowances (as applicable in Indian Navy), Dress and Travel allowances will be paid.

6. Terminal Benefits – After 4 years of service Agniveer will get Seva Nidhi Package. They will be given onetime ‘Seva Nidhi’ package comprises of their monthly contribution with matching contribution by the Government on completion of their service period, as mentioned below:

Agniveers are not entitled to Gratuity and Pensionary benefits.

7. Life Insurance Cover. Agniveers are eligible for non-contributory Life Insurance Cover of Rs. 48 lakh for the duration of their engagement period.

8. Death Compensation. Apart of insurance cover of Rs. 48 Lakh, one-time ex-gratia of Rs. 44 Lakh for death attributable to service, will be provided to the Next of Kin.
