Management Trainee Recruitment 2024: Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL) is a state
owned power Sector in Odisha. It has infrastructure that spans about
16,508 CKT KMs of transmission line, with a vast and robust transmission
network of 195 substations ranging from 132 kV to 400 kV in the state of Odisha. OPTCL has issued recruitment
notification for the post of Management Trainee (Electrical) based on GATE 2024
score for various locations across Odisha from eligible and interested candidates.
The online application process will begin from 1st November, 2024
and the last date of filling up the online application form is 21st

Management Trainee Recruitment 2024 Selection
Process
The Selection Process for OPTCL Management Trainee
Recruitment 2024 based on marks obtained (out of 100) in the Electrical
Engineering discipline paper of GATE 2024 followed by Personal Interview.
Candidates will be short-listed category-wise for Personal Interview based on
their GATE 2024 score (Normalized Marks out of 100) in GATE 2024. Shortlisted
candidates can download their interview call letter through the candidate login
by visiting the official website. Candidates shortlisted for the Personal
Interview will be required to get the documents ready as mentioned in their
interview call letter. The detail procedure will be intimated to the candidates
in the interview call letter. The offer letter of appointment to the candidates
will be issued to the selected candidates on the basis of merit. However, candidates
must note that the final appointment will be subject to their medical fitness
as per the prescribed standard and verification issued by OPTCL.
Candidates need
to qualify in the GATE 2024 examination. For calculation of final score of a
candidate for final selection, the weightages of marks obtained in GATE 2024,
and Personal Interview is mentioned below

Management Trainee Recruitment 2024 Pay Scale and
Allowances
Candidates
who are selected will be in training period for 1 year and will be placed as
Management Trainee with a stipend of Rs 50000/month. On successful and
satisfactory completion of 1-year training period candidates will be absorbed
as Assistant Manager Grade in the scale of pay of Rs 56,100 – 1,77,500 /- with initial
Basic of Rs 56, 100/-. Along with Basic pay, candidates will also be entitled for
DA, HRA or company accommodation, Medical Allowance, Conveyance Allowance,
Medical Insurance, Group Personal Accident Insurance, LTC, Gratuity, National
Pension System (NPS) and various loans & advances shall be paid as per
applicable rules of the Corporation in force from time to time. The CTC per
annum for the post of Assistant Manager would be around Rs. 15 lacs
(approximately).

Registration Process
Eligible and
interested candidates can apply only through online mode. To apply candidate,
need to visit OPTCL website www.optcl.co.in with details of their GATE 2024 registration
number and other details.
Candidates
need to fill up the details in the application form very carefully. Candidate
need to take utmost care while filling
out the email id/ alternative email id fields since all important communication
will be send to emails only.
After
completion of the application form, the candidate has to submit the online
application by clicking the SUBMIT button at the bottom of the page. If the application
form is accepted, the system will create a unique OPTCL application number
which will appear in the completed application form.
During On-line
payment mode, applicant will be redirected to payment gateway page under Tech
Process. After completing the on-line Payment candidate should take hard copy
of the application form along with fee receipt. This hard copy candidate should
keep as proof of payment for future reference which will be required at the
time of document verification of original certificates.
Candidates are
required to bring their GATE Admit card and GATE 2024 score card for
verification at the time of document verification and Personal Interview.
