Orissa High Court District Judge Recruitment: The High Court of
Orissa, Cuttack has published recruitment notification (Advertisement No: 04 of
2024) to the post in the cadre of District Judge from the Bar.Eligible candidates can apply
for 31 vacancies across Odisha. The online application form for this recruitment can be
filled from 6th November,2024 till 22nd November, 2024. To
be eligible for this post candidate must be a graduate in Law (for other
eligibility criteria check below) and must be aged between 35 to 45 years. The
selection process to qualify for this post has following stages: 1. Written

Recruitment Selection Process
Selection process for Orissa High Court District Judge
Recruitment will be as follows.
Stage I – The written examination will be conducted as per the provisions of the Orissa
Superior Judicial Service and Orissa Judicial Service Rules.
Stage II –
Only shortlisted
candidates in written examination will be called for Interview.
Stage III
– Medical
Examination
Final
merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Written Exam and
Interview.

continuous practice as an advocate as on 01/04/2024 and also the candidate should
be in the active practice as on the date of application fillup. |
Candidates age should not be below

The upper age limit will be relaxed by 5 (Five)
years for candidates belong to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, SEBC and
Women category and by 10 (Ten) years for Persons with Disabilities (PwD). |

Orissa High Court District Judge Recruitment Pay Scale and Allowances
The pay
scale for District Judge will be Rs 1,44,840 – Rs 1,94,660 with usual D.A. and
other allowances will be given from time to time.

this must be issued within a period of 3 (Three) months before the last date of
submission of the application.
e) Candidates
who are in the cadre of Public Prosecutor or Assistant Public Prosecutor, have
to submit the appointment letter.
f) Candidates
recent passport size colour photograph with proper orientation.
g) Candidates
Full Signature with proper orientation.
h) Candidates
have to submit two certificates of good character each issued from separate
gazetted officers, and this must be issued within a period of 3 (Three) months
prior to the closing date of submission of application form
i) Candidate
need to submit certificate from the competent authority in proof of passing Odia
of Middle School Standard.
j) The
candidates who belong to the category of SC/ST/SEBC must furnish the
certificate from the Competent Authority indicating their respective category.
