UCEED 2026 Eligibility Criteria: Are You Eligible?

Before applying, aspirants must carefully go through the UCEED eligibility conditions as defined by IIT Bombay:

Age Limit

  • General/Open/EWS/OBC-NCL candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 2001.
  • SC/ST/PwD candidates get a 5-year relaxation, i.e., born on or after October 1, 1996.

Number of Attempts

  • A candidate can appear for UCEED a maximum of two times in consecutive years.
  • The score is valid for one academic year only.

Qualifying Exam

  • Must have passed the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination in 2025 or 2026 in any stream (Science, Commerce, or Arts).
  • Candidates appeared for Class 12 in 2024 or earlier are not eligible for UCEED 2026.

Part A: Computer-Based Test (CBT)

UCEED 2026 Syllabus Overview

The UCEED syllabus aims to test a student’s ability in design thinking, creativity, logical reasoning, and visualisation.
