RRB Recruitment 2024: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued recruitment notification (Centralized Employment Notice No. CEN 03/2024) for 7951 vacancies   for Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, Chemical & Metallurgical, Chemical Supervisor (Research) & Metallurgical Supervisor (Research). These vacancies are spread across RRB - wise and Railway Zone- wise. RRB Recruitment 2024: Recruitment Process

 

RRB Recruitment for Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, Chemical & Metallurgical, Chemical Supervisor (Research) & Metallurgical Supervisor (Research) will be carried out in three stages

Stage 1- This stage will be Computer Based Test (CBT) and is common to all notified posts mentioned here. This examination will be conducted at designated computer-based test centres spread across India. The duration of Test will be 90 minutes and total number of questions will be 100.

Stage 2- This stage is also CBT Test.Short listing of Candidates for this CBT exam will be based on the normalized marks obtained by the candidates in the Stage 1 CBT Exam. Total number of candidates to be shortlisted in Stage 2 CBT will be 15 times the community wise total vacancy of Posts notified against each RRB as per their merit in 1st Stage CBT. The duration of Test in Stage 2 will be 120 minutes and total number of questions will be 150. 

 

Stage 3- This stage will be Document Verification. Candidates to be shortlisted for Document Verification based on their marks and merit in the stage 2 CBT and options. The number of shortlisted candidates will be equal to the number of vacancies mentioned by RRB.

RRB Recruitment 2024: Online Registration Process

 Note: Mandatory Scanned Documents are to be kept ready by the candidate before filling the online application:

(i) Recent, colour passport size photograph (with plain white background) of the candidate in JPEG image with size of 30 to 70KB (without wearing dark glasses and/or cap). Candidates must keep at least 12 (twelve) copies of the same passport size photograph for future use during the recruitment process.

(ii) Scanned JPEG image of candidate’s signature (running handwriting) with size of 30 to 70KB

(iii) SC /ST Certificate (only for those candidates who request for free train travel pass) in pdf format (up to 500KB).

Step 4: Fill online application form with correct information. Candidates are advised to recheck before final submission.

Step 5: After submission of Application Form candidate will be directed to exam fee payment through online payment methods.

Step 6: Final acceptance of application will be considered only after receiving the confirmation of payment from the candidate.
