Administrative Officers (Generalists & Specialists) (Scale-I)	Generalists: A candidate must be a graduate/post graduate in any discipline from a recognised University with at least 60% marks (General candidates) and 55% marks (SC/ST/PwBD candidates).   Specialists (Accounts): A candidate must have the minimum qualification (any one) from a recognised university or any qualification recognised by central government which is mentioned below. Chartered Accountant (ICAI)/ Cost and Management Accountant (The Institute of Cost Accountants of India) and Graduation/Postgraduation in any discipline with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) Or MBA Finance/PGDM Finance/ M. Com with minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD)	Minimum Age: 21 years and Maximum Age: 30 years, as on 01.09.2024. i.e. a candidate must have been born not before 2nd Sep-1994 and not after 1st Sep-2003 (both dates inclusive). The New India Assurance Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

The New India Assurance Recruitment 2024 selection process will be carried out in three Phases.

Phase I – Preliminary Examination - Preliminary Examination of selection process consists of objective test which consists of 100 marks and this will be conducted in online mode.

Phase II - Main Examination - Main Examination of selection process consists of objective test which consists of 200 marks and descriptive test of 30 marks. Both objective and descriptive Tests will be in online mode. Candidates have to answer descriptive test on the computer. This test will be conducted Immediately after completion of objective test.

(I) Objective Test: The Objective Test will be of 2 hours 30 minutes duration. This test will have separate timing for every section.

Phase III - Interview - Candidates who are shortlisted after completion of Phase-II will be called for an Interview. Interview for selected candidates will be conducted at selected centres. The weightage for final selection of candidates will be as follows. Online Examination – 75 % and Interview 25% respectively.

The New India Assurance Recruitment 2024: Pay Scale and Benefits

Candidates joining as Administrative Officers will get Basic pay of Rs. 50,925/- in the scale of Rs.50925-2500(14)-85925-2710(4)- 96765 and other allowances are also applicable. Total Gross Pay will be Rs. 88,000/- p.m.(approx.) in Metropolitan Cities. Other benefits such as coverage under National Pension System (NPS) governed by PFRDA, Gratuity, LTS, Medical Benefits, Group Personal Accident Insurance etc. will be applicable as per rules. These benefits will be applicable at the time of appointment of the candidates. These Officers are also entitled for Company’s accommodation as per norms.
