CIL has issued recruitment notification for the post of Management Trainees based on GATE 2024 score for various locations across India from eligible and interested candidates. CIL Recruitment 2024 through GATE Score: Selection Process

1.      Candidates who are eligible for this post must have appeared and qualified for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE -2024). Based on the GATE-2024 scores/Marks and requirement by CIL, only those candidates will be shortlisted (discipline-wise and category-wise) in the ratio of 1:3 in order of merit for further selection process. 

2.      In case there is tie in GATE Score between candidates, following rules will be applicable for finalizing the merit list: i) Applicant with higher percentage mark / CGPA in minimum eligible qualification will be given higher preference in the merit list. ii) After considering Sl.No (i) above If there is still a tie , then applicant who is senior in age will be given higher preference. 

3.      The final merit list for selected candidates will be prepared for each discipline on the basis of GATE 2024 scores/marks. GATE scores/marks of 2024 will only be valid for this post of Management Trainees and the scores before or after GATE-2024 is not valid for this recruitment process. 

4.      Any Candidate working with Government / PSUs / Autonomous bodies has to submit No Objection Certificate (NOC) and to be attached while filling online application form. 

5.      The final list of candidates who are selected against the vacancies will be uploaded on the coal India Limited website only. And also, these Candidates will be intimated about Documents Verification (DV) & Initial Medical Examination (IME) on CIL website as well as in their registered E-mail Id only.

Offer Letter of appointment will be issued to the candidates only after successful completion of DV & IME and submission of relieving letter from present employer if working in Govt. Sector / PSUs / Autonomous body. 

 

CIL Recruitment 2024 through GATE Score: Pay Scale and Allowances

Candidates who are selected will be in training period for 1 year and will be placed as Management Trainee in E-2 Grade in the scale of pay of Rs 50,000 – 1, 60,000/- with initial Basic pay of Rs 50,000/- per month. On successful and satisfactory completion of 1-year training period and passing the test conducted by CIL for the purpose, regularization will be in E-3 Grade in the scale of pay of Rs 60,000 – 1, 80,000/- with initial Basic of Rs 60, 000/- and will be in probation for 1 year. Along with Basic pay, candidates will also be entitled for Dearness Allowance, HRA, perquisites and allowances under cafeteria approach including Performance Related Pay (PRP) as applicable for the post. Candidates will also get benefits such as Leave, Medical facilities, CMPF, CMPS, Gratuity, CIL Executive Defined Contribution Pension Scheme etc. as per the rules of the company. The actual remuneration may vary for candidates depending on place of posting, financial performance of the Company and also performance rating of individual.

Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for this post.

All qualifications of the candidates must be recognized by AICTE / UGC / appropriate Indian Statutory Authorities.

candidates must have an active E-mail Id & Mobile number which must remain valid for at least next one year. Since all future communications with the candidates will be done through their registered E-mail ID. No change in E-mail Id & Mobile number is allowed in the online application once registered by the candidate.

While applying online, candidate has to upload scanned copies of the following self-attested documents.

·         Scanned copy of the recent passport size colour photograph in jpg/jpeg format (not older than 3 weeks).

·         Scanned copy of signature with Black ink pen (in jpg/jpeg format).

·         Scanned copies of the documents (in jpg/jpeg and pdf format), as follows:

·         Matriculation / Secondary Board level certificate /Admit Card for age proof.

·         Candidates mark sheet of graduation /post-graduation to check the minimum eligibility of the candidate

·         Candidates final / provisional degree / certificate for graduation/ postgraduation

·         Apart from the other required documents, the candidates who are in the final year / semester / trimester in the academic year 2023-2024 will have to upload self-attested copy of their latest year / semester / trimester mark sheet / marks transcript of relevant minimum educational qualification.

No correction in the application form is allowed after candidate finally submits the online application form. Hence, proper care should be taken while entering correct details before submitting the online application.
